Motel One — Website & Career Portal

Motel One relaunched two of its core digital surfaces — the public website and a dedicated career portal. Both built around the same principles: a clear path through the booking flow, pages that load fast, and an experience that stays accessible throughout.

Motel One — Website & Career Portal

Two relaunches, two distinct products. On the main website I worked on the booking experience — from components and modules to interactions and user experience. The career portal followed the same standards of performance and component quality, with its own set of needs around job search and candidate experience.

The new main website

The main website was a full relaunch of Motel One's public presence. I worked broadly across the frontend — paying particular attention to the booking flow and hotel discovery pages, where clarity and speed matter most. Clean components, optimised delivery, and animations that add character without getting in the way.

The career portal

The career portal was a separate product with its own needs. Performance was central here too — fast-loading pages, a job search that feels responsive, and the same attention to component quality as the main site.

Fast, accessible, polished — down to the last detail.
